    Dublin Pride

June is the most colourful and most liberated month of the year in Dublin. We celebrate pride over the entire month with themed nights, theatre, performances and rainbows everywhere. This culminates on Pride Weekend which takes place on the weekend of 23rd of June. The 40th Anniversary Dublin Pride Parade will take place on Saturday, June 24th 2023, celebrating how far we’ve come as a nation while acknowledging the work we have left to do. All are welcome to join in this wonderful day of fun followed by an evening of dancing and celebrations. You do not need tickets to march in or watch the parade which goes from O Connell Street to Merrion Square.

    Forever Young Festival

One of the most anticipated musical events of the year in Dublin is taking place from 14-16th July. This throwback to the 80s promises a weekend of nostalgia, reunions and great fun. The line-up this year includes stars like Billy Ocean, Tony Hadley and The Nolans among many, many others! Marley Park is the place to be on the first weekend in July. Longitude is one of the most popular and lively festivals on the Irish music scene and typically, one of the hardest to secure tickets to. This year, the line-up contains huge names like Travis Scott, Calvin Harris, Ann Marie, and MK, and that’s only the first round of announcements. Two-day tickets cost €199.50 and single-day ticket costs €99.90. You could slum it with the campers with a weekend ticket or live a luxury festival life with 4-star hotel accommodation in nearby Park West. It’s just 20-minutes door to door and hot showers, cooked breakfast and comfortable beds will ensure you’re festival ready every day.

Dublin Fringe Festival describes itself as ‘a curated, multidisciplinary arts festival and a year-round artist support organisation’. They give artists from across the spectrum of artistic mediums a chance to invigorate their craft, learning and experiencing art in its truest form. For artists, Dublin Fringe Festival allows artists to innovate, to push boundaries and strengthen the conditions in which they work. For audiences, Dublin Fringe Festival is about discovery, allowing us to experience the work of artists and creatives and foster memorable encounters and conversations. They’re always looking for new submissions and the latest news and events are available on their website.

    Kaleidoscope Festival

Technically not a festival in Dublin, but Kaleidoscope is worth travelling for. It’s a family-friendly festival for all ages with an incredible programme of music and activities for all of the family. The line-up this year has names like the legendary Nile Rodgers, B’Witched and Gavin James. It all takes place in the scenic Russborough House, Co. Wicklow, from June 30 – July 2nd 2023, about 30 minutes’ drive from our Dublin hotel.
